A RAINY DESERT - Arpit Raj

*A Rainy Desert*

How capricious the clouds - kissing a thirsty land.

Yet he had already grown accustomed to the scoundrel rain, although every drop rewrites its destiny.

The beauty of the desert is seen from far away,

It seems like a source of water - but as the winds draw closer,

Everything disappears as if it were never there. Acquaintance with tears had passed decades ago... Perhaps his flowers learned to bloom too late.

A sense of tears on barren land - feels like heaven,

He was gold beneath the extreme blaze,

But the warmth of tears - feels like hell!

Somewhere deep - creating a mirage of her brunette.

_(Aftermath)_

A starry night after the melancholy of heavy rain feels like emptiness has forgotten its name.

His tears fall upon a forgotten heart,

yet she warns him never to plead a sorry -

An act of love? I had a dream where the sky stitched wounds of sand,

Where I met the version of me I had lost.

For a while, I wasn't empty anymore.

I faced the parts of me I had buried alive.

A rainy desert - an answer I wasn't ready for.
